I tried the free trial and got no sense at all of what this app actually offered so I ended up paying just to try it and so far a it does is tell me to drink water in the morning which I’ve done my entire life and suggests I exercise less than I actually do and is obsessed with me eating breakfast even though it makes me ill. Customer service just keeps telling me to go on other “journeys” but none of them are compelling or challenging. It also keeps trying to force me to read their content and answer nutrition questions from other customers. I am shocked at the positive reviews, I guess if you literally don’t do anything ever that’s positive and healthy maybe it would help you start? Not worth it, there are free apps that are better and their free trial feels like a scam because you don’t know what you’re buying before it ends.
  • App is terrible and customer service is even worse

I tried to use this app during the 7 day trial and found the app very confusing and not helpful for building habits. After trying to cancel when the app automatically charged a year, customer service refused to offer any refund and was completely unhelpful. Stay clear of this app!!

First 3 days of your 7 day “trial” is to drink water. Wow so helpful. Then if you don’t cancel the trial before the 7 days is up you get charged the maximum price they can charge you with zero chance of a refund regardless of circumstances. If you are a child maybe this app will help you
  • Over priced & scam trial

This app needs to get over it’s bad habit of ripping people off. $50 a year subscription or $5 a month subscription? Are y’all tripping? Way too expensive super Egregious. You also cannot do a trial without also committing to payment that’s not a trial, I don’t want to commit to payments. This app is just full of themselves.

This all so great and it’s so helpful! Even without the membership it helps you so much, and I just can’t imagine how much it will help if I do get the membership, (which I might be planning very soon!) and I just recommend it to everyone!!
  • Please cancel trial now

This app will charge your iTunes account for the full amount of an entire year’s subscription before the end of the 7-day trial, and there will be no possibility of getting a refund, or contesting it. I thought that this was an amazing concept for an app and considered purchasing the 14/month subscription (which I could afford), but I am just so upset right now. Why on Earth would an app designed to help people not give students like myself the opportunity to be refunded this exorbitant app cost if it is a genuine mistake?

    1) Why is it asking me to sign in when I look at my account (when I tap the person icon at top right of home screen)? I’ve already set up an account &, when I go to sign in, after I put my email in, the app tells me that I’m starting a new account. So, I stop signing in bc I don’t want to delete everything. Am I signed in or not? 2) There are habits that don’t always occur every day but are important to be mindful of. It’d be nice if we could set up habits that happen as frequently as we’d like (for example, once a week, I’ll create my own task to “go grocery shopping,” or twice a week, I’ll create my own task to, “water plants”). Stuff like that. 3) I read somewhere in your content overview map/letter no. 1 or something that this company, “has no ego.” Okay, everyone, even a monk, has an ego. That really gave me a laugh (& not in a good way). Maybe swap it out for, “we strive to contain our ego,” or, “we do our best to keep our egos in check.” 4) Consider making your content mini-podcasts. You have a lot of content &, in this day & age, it’s *too much* stuff to consume. Keep the article format. Don’t get rid of that. But, go back & add in a way to hit play so we can listen to this on our daily drive to work or whatever. You’re already asking us to change our habits in the morning. Do you think we’ve got time to read your essay once we’re done? No. No one does. 5) I had a task appear for “exercise for 3 days,” this week w/ no warning & then disappear w/ no warning. You should announce new tasks/habits better after the completion of a new habit challenge. Where did my habit go? Will it come back? I’d like to do that habit w/o messing w/ your science of things. So, am I taking on too much if I do it anyway? These are all questions I have & don’t expect you to answer. But, I’m annoyed by this & hope you fix it/bring that habit back to me ASAP. 6) Your app layout is confusing, & I don’t understand all of the different areas you can go to nor why they are there. I suggest doing one of those “tap here to do this & this” walkthrough tutorials at the start of every new sign up. To fix the confusion now, next time you update, just do that for all users. Like, what am I supposed to do with the content that’s there right now or the challenges or journeys or whatever?? It’s frustrating & you guys talk yourselves up A LOT. Meet your own standards. 7) Stop trying to jock so hard on peer to peer marketing. It’s messed up. If you’re so good, you’ll succeed. Stop trying to force my friends to sign up for your app. If community is really so helpful to success, build a buddy system w/in the app. I’m serious, it’s a good idea. You’re welcome. (&, while we’re at it, don’t tell us to go visit your Instagram all the time). I want to feel like you guys care but, between your over-inflated egos & over-kill marketing, you really just make me feel like I’m a number & a dollar figure to you. Which, as a business, even if you say it’s not true, I know is. But, if you want to keep claiming you care, then act like it.
