I’ve been looking for a good Gatcha game for a while now. I originally liked Langrisser but epic 7 just does everything better. Graphics and animations are beautiful, combat feels much more dynamic than Rock Paper Scissors, progression feels much more fluid, etc. I could go on and on. You don’t need a whole lot of time investment either, as you can level up while offline after progressing enough through the story, which is fantastic by the way, especially for a f2p. I’ve read a few reviews about horrible drop rates but I’m not sure if I’ve had good luck or if they’re just flat out wrong. I’ve gotten 3 five star heroes and 2 four star heroes since I started 2 weeks ago, along with 2 five star artifacts and a handful of four stars. I haven’t even finished the main story yet. I think if you aren’t looking for anything specific in particular you always have a chance of getting something good. Of course you need to get dupes if rare character drops to min max your team but it’s far from necessary unless you invest heavily into the pvp in this game, which I haven’t yet. I think this game has just continued to surprise me and I can’t wait to see where the devs take this game.

Combat is fun and the animation helps set the stage. Great game so far in!
  • Great game but needs work on summons

    By gouryvy
This game is amazing but if the summons to get a five star unit were a little bit higher it would be great. I love this game and so does everybody else but the chances of getting a five star unit is very low, making it hard to advance into the game and for pvp. Im sure that everyone is hoping for a percentage change in the summons. Love- Nacho
