The RP Diet App was designed by nutritional experts and data scientists to do one thing and one thing only: GET YOU RESULTS! This app is NOT A TRACKER. You don't type in the foods or macros you eat. This app is a DIET DESIGNER and COACH. It tells you what to eat, not the other way around! There are tons of tracker apps out there, and many of them are very good. But this is one of the only diet coaching apps. If you're frustrated with your diet and just want a clear but flexible plan to follow, this is the app for you. The RP Diet App takes the uncertainty out of your hands and guides you every step of the way to your fitness goals. You log in and tell the app about yourself, including your current schedule. You also tell the app about your next goal. You can choose to lose fat, gain muscle, or maintain an athletic physique at peak performance. Based on the goal you choose, the app designs a custom diet that fits your schedule, but it doesn't choose your foods. For each meal, YOU get to choose the foods you eat from a long (and growing) list of healthy options, and the app automatically tells you how much of these foods to eat so that you're on track to meet the goal you set. The app will remind you when it's time to eat your meals and when it's time to step on the scale to track your progress. By inputting your weight just a few times a week, the app will automatically adjust your diet every week to keep you on track. What does this mean? It means that you don't have to fret or worry about your diet anymore. You just have to choose your favorite healthy foods, eat when the app reminds you, and watch your body transform. When you have serious goals, don't leave them to chance. Leave them to science. While the app accommodates countless ways of eating, it's not yet currently configured to support vegan diets or the schedules of night shift workers. Both updates are coming VERY soon, and the vegan diet option is already well underway in development and promises to be very, very powerful and easy to use.   • The update has too many discrepancies

    I love the idea of having the option to add multiple sources of foods but the new update has made the app stall and give inaccurate information with macros. Also when i try to update or change my daily lifestyle routine and workout times the app won’t update new info when it comes time to log my foods. Keeps saying I have six meals even though I select four or keeps showing I have a workout shake when I select NTD or no shake for the day. Makes me want to revert to the old version. Great ideas but Too complicated due to errors.

    Had a sign in issue, they were able to resolve for me. Somehow I managed to create multiple accounts. One of the owners contacted me in their Facebook group to help resolve my issue. They are releasing frequent updates to fix the bugs in the system.

    Love the ease of the app, wish it gave you the option of more than one choice of foods per category, but I’m guessing that will happen eventually! Otherwise it’s great for taking out the guesswork!

    Overall I like the app. I’ve been using it for a little over 3 months now, started using it right when version 1.1 was released. Pretty solid app for being brand new and pretty much ‘beta’-esque. This app really takes the guess work out of everything for you and makes meal planning and eating well easy. I’ve lost over 20lbs since I started using the app at the beginning of January with no exercising (have a few injuries I’m nursing back to health before jumping back in) and am on track to lose the last 25 by end of May. Things I LOVE **easy to use whether you know a lot about fitness and macros or nothing at all about counting macros (like myself when I started). The app really does everything for you, you just pick the foods you want to eat ** the shopping list!! You create all your meals for the upcoming week and the app pulls everything together into a curated shopping list along with the exact bulk amount you need to buy. This is AWESOME! The most recent update in March 2019 (version 1.5) has thrown me off a little as they did a complete overhaul of the app and it’s almost like using an entirely new app tracker. Would have been better imo to push out small feature updates more often than huge updates all at once. - would really like for other milk options to be added in such as Almond milk. Almond milk is a very common milk fitness people and health people in general often use in their coffees and protein shakes. — or give the user the option to manually add in and save our own foods into our app database with the nutrition facts and have the app place it in the proper category etc. - miss the feature from previous version (1.1-1.4)where you could swipe left and right when creating meals. Lots of tapping ‘back’ and ‘done’ with the new version update. - this may be possible in the new version, if so I have not figured it out, but no longer able to copy a meal creation across multiple days at a time like in the last version (1.1-1.4) I definitely like the app overall, and would highly recommend ! :)

    I’ve been struggling to follow the RP templates on my own for over a year. This app simplifies the process and makes me more accountable. Now that you can add multiple options for proteins/veggies it is incredible!
  • This update is infuriating

    (3/23/2019) This update is the worst. Let me tell you the ways: I can no longer copy meals from one day to another or from one meal in one day to another meal in another day; the shopping list no longer gives you totals of how much if each thing you need; lifestyle can no longer be copied from one day to another, the app tells you it can but it doesn’t, not possible. So basically, you now have to manually input every single meal and day of activity. This takes WAY TOO LONG. Without a website where you can control the app it is infuriating to do this one by one. For this price? Might as well switch back to CarbManager or something. The interface is an improvement. It looks nice and clean but if the app is so user unfriendly what does it matter that it looks pretty. Bring back the ability to copy meals and activity. I plan my meals the Sunday before and then basically eat the same thing the whole week, this update is making me input every single protein, carb, veggie, and fat for every single mean for every single day. UGH!!

  • Shopping list update fail

    The new update made it so you can’t see the total amount of food needed on the shopping list. I am starting my first week Monday and thought this was such an awesome feature. I think the format/interface looked so much better in the previous version of this app. Disappointed it looks clunky and not as sleek with this new update. Real sad ab the shopping list not displaying the total either. (03/21/19)

    I am working solely off of this app, not the templates and I am seeing consistent results. I’ve wanted to do rp for a while but always got overwhelmed by trying to calculate all the macros as well as meal plan. This is straight forward, does the thinking for you and as long as you adhere to the plan, you will reach your goal. I’m hoping they will add the ability to choose more than one food for each category, but even if they don’t, I still love it. Update: THANK YOU!!! The update is incredible. I love the multiple choices and I’m so glad I was already doing it before because I have a lot of knowledge already from eating very simply. There are so many meals I’ve already built up and can plug in as a saved food combination. I bet I have a chocolate whey/banana/peanut butter shake twice a day! And I just made my first goal!
