  • Game Changer

I have been meal planning for over a decade with all different formats: calendars, planners, amazon fresh, eMeals, Pinterest and everything in between. Having recipes all over the place and then collecting them and making the shopping list takes just as long as shopping! MealBoard is everything I’ve ever wanted in a meal planning app! I can plan and it makes my grocery list in a snap. I can see when the last time I made something was, which my husband loves, so we’re not eating the same 5 meals 😂 I haven’t even utilized the app to its full potential with the pantry portion of the app yet. This app is now a staple in my week!
  • Great app!

I really do love this app. Being able to download recipes from certain websites makes adding recipes even easier. My only question is why did you change it so that every time I want to add grocery items from my pantry to my shopping list it ask if I want to add these x # of items. Seems like an unnecessary step & really annoying. This has been changed just recently & is kind of a pain.

  • Amazing app for someone that enjoys cooking and wants to be thoroughly organized.

I had been looking for an app like this for some time and stumbled on it. All of the features are amazing and I use each one of them. I highly recommend it. The unique value prop of this app is how it combines - recipe documentation and importation, with meal planning, shopping, and kitchen inventory management! Some issues I noticed: the export to iCal function isn’t working any more, and the recipe category for “all in stock” doesn’t filter correctly. But everything else still works great. It’s a practical and frequently used app for me.
  • Life Changing

I love this app. I’ve been using it for a year or two and haven’t had any issues. It’s versatile and highly functional. I store recipes, pantry items, and non-edible. I have added all of my stores like Joanne’s and Home Depot, along with the grocery variety, so that I have all of my shopping lists in one place. I also store my clothing patterns as recipes and created a category “Patterns”. This helps me 1) avoid buying the same pattern and 2) look up notions and fabric needed for the project. It has done wonders for our budget since I can see exactly what my subtotal will be before I leave the house!
  • So helpful! I love this app.

Just upgraded from 4 to 5 stars because every time I use it I find another great feature – like recipe reminders that you can use to remind yourself to take the meat out of the freezer the night before! Fantastic. I love that I can use my own recipes, and not be flooded with a library of things I probably won't make or eat. I love that it automatically adds ingredients from a recipe to my grocery list, with the option to deselect something I already have. Great app. It would be cool though if it added the recipe/meal to the calendar based on the number of servings, like if I'm prepping lunch for the week (with the option to add it every other day, etc.).
  • Pretty good, needs refinement

This app is pretty cool. I like seeing multiples meals for multiple days right there on one screen. There is a major oversight in the app though. I have it set to show two weeks of meals. It’s now Tuesday of the second week and I’m still seeing the entire first week and only the rest of this one. Pretty pointless.
  • Fantastic!

All meal planning, pantry and grocery shopping in one place. I would only have a few very minor suggestions for the app to make it even easier but it is near perfect the way it is. Love it!
  • Love it

I love this app. It’s really helped me and changed my life honestly. Not having to think about what to make for dinner each night has made my life so much less stressful. There are so many features that make things easy to use. I don’t even use half of them but someday I will.
  • Review for recent changes

One function of the app used to work in a way that made a lot more sense than it does now. When you want to quick-add a meal to your meal plan, by tapping the “+” on a date, you used to be able to type in a new meal (recipe) name and add it. It would also automatically use title case. Now, when you tap the +, type in a new meal name, and add it to your meal plan, the app logs it as a pantry item instead of a recipe. It also uses all lower case for this now. I don’t always want to add in a full recipe in the recipe tab before being able to put my meals on the calendar. I just want to quick-add the name of the meal so that I remember what to make. Before this change in recent months, I had no complaints about the app. It was as simple or complex as you want it to be.
