I shouldn’t have to keep left swiping the same men, over and over and over 🙄

Hello! I’ve been on OKC for about 5 years on and off maybe more. I feel over the years spam profiles have been more frequent or people who want more social media followers. Some spam bots just say hi and that’s it. I feel it’s unfair to users of the male side to have that much spam vs female. In general it’s bad. I want an app ( especially one you put money into) to be honest and fair. I want a dating app to produce real profiles so people don’t waste their time in life and find better connections rather than having to sort through the weeds. There isn’t any place for me to talk to customer service either to complain about issues

Trash ! They changed it completely. People can no longer see your message until they swipe their life away to find you.
  • Not as good as it used to be.

App is a real pain to use and hard to track who you messaged.

Not a huge fan of showing ads after every single message. That is not user friendly in the least and makes it so much harder to communicate.

I set up a new account, decided to spring for A-list to hopefully increase my chances. In less than 24 hours my account was suspended for no reason that I can tell. I didn’t upload anything graphic or obscene. I only sent a couple messages, again, saying nothing that would warrant this. They stole my money and I feel I deserve to be refunded. I’ve already emailed support but I highly doubt they will respond. Buyer beware...look elsewhere.

Profiles and photos should be reviewed better than you currently are doing. Naked pics should never be allowed period. Although OkCupid made me a profile monitor, it’s too limited and frankly the administrative end should screen more profiles before allowing members to post.
  • Pretty good

Wish more quality men were on this app, but that isn't the fault of the app. Wish I could attach a picture. Wish I could video call someone so I could see them in real life. Lots of fakes or there.

UPDATE: My review and request for answers/assistance below from Ok Cupid was posted one week ago. OKC’s response? Pure silence. That says it all about this application. (1) The OKC application doesn’t work for me since about a week ago. It keeps saying that there’s no Internet connection, yet everything else with my phone works uninterrupted. Phone service, text messaging, and all other applications work fine no matter where I am using my phone. I tried deleting the OKC app then reinstalling it. It still doesn’t work. (2) This new messaging feature is frustrating. Let’s say I find someone I might be interested in. I have to “like” that person first before sending a message is allowed. Ok, fine. I’m even ok with not letting me send that person another message unless the person “likes” me and responds to my first message. What bothers me is I can’t see the first message I sent unless the individual responds. Why is that? (3) Finally, on November 2, 2018, I received email from OKC saying “Someone liked and messaged you” and supposedly I should be able to “Find them in Search or DoubleTake to read what they wrote. They should be near the top.” None of this was true. I saw no message from anyone in DoubkeTake and I have no idea how to search for an unknown person who messaged me. OK Cupid, please help with the above three issues. Thanks,
