    I’ve been tracking myself with this app for just about a month and have paid for the membership. Overall, I’m happy with it. It is an easy way to keep an accurate picture of what’s going on - once you’ve gone through an initial break-in period. If you are like me, even if you eat a variety of foods, there is still a core menu of things you consume on a regular basis. I was on vacation from work for the first week or so of tracking so I had plenty of time to find an input items in my regular diet. The app allows you to input foods that aren’t in its database under the “My Foods” category and to create custom meals or groupings of food as well. Adding custom foods is fairly easy if you have a product label on hand. I wish that function had a separate “brand” field so you didn’t have to try and include it in the item name. I’d also like there to be a field to track added sugar in nutrition values. Although, not all labels separate that out, so I get it. I found the “My Meals” option more cumbersome. In order to create a meal, you have to start from scratch with your food entry. It would be nice to have a repopulated list of items we’ve logged before to start with. And, once in a meal, can you edit case by case? If I eat my normal salad, but switch to a dressing with a different nutrient profile, I can’t just make a one-time change. Also, I found branded foods listed as “verified” under multiple slightly different names and nutrient profiles. All of these suggestions are small in the grand scheme. It has helped me get a very realistic view of my portions, amounts, and macronutrient balances. A month in, I’m still leaning. I just realized, for example, that I can adjust my own macronutrient goals under my profile information.
  • Has a few major flaws

    For example, when adding a food by scanning the barcode, one can only change the quantity in multiples of the unit used on the label. Let say one is adding 100 ml of milk but the label is in cups then one needs to get the calculator out an manually convert that into a fraction of cups, that is too much friction. Other apps allow to change the unit and voila getting on with my day.

    I’m on the keto diet and this app helps me make sure I’m eating 70% fat 20% protein and 5% carbs. I love how it calculates everything for the whole day. Great app!!!
  • Easy to use, however...

    You get a lot with the free version... however, you can not add your own workout routine and that is very very important when tracking calories.

    The app is nice but I was suddenly subscribed as a”Gold Member” $48 year-long membership and I not notified until the payment confirmation. I have requested a refund but it’s impossible to talk to a live person. There’s no phone number.

    I loved the app but it drained by phone battery like no app has ever done...even after turning off all notifications etc. deleted and my battery has been fine ever since

    I went through each field to add a custom recipe and when I hit save it says it cannot process my request. Please correct this issue!!

    This app is amazing. It actually will email you what ingredients to get for the weeks and then give you these amazing recipes, simple and healthy. I am so happy I found this app this year. Started on a weight rid journey (I don’t say loss and lost because I know where the pounds are going), I’m on day 10 and already down 11 pounds. Thank you so much! Best find for 2019 !!!
