  • Doesn’t always work as it should

Im a tinder gold member, and up front a lot of the perks seemed nice. Being able to see who liked your profile saves a lot of time since you can activate a match sooner. And they’re pushing the “top picks” thing like a mad man. However, being able to see who likes you doesn’t change the amount of people who actually do, only now you get discouraged when seeing “0 new likes” after a week, or even sometimes longer. Men already have a rough time getting likes cause we’re so many for less women. The top picks also don’t work well. It’s nice seeing 10 profiles of girls who, as tinder says, are “picked just for you”. However, that doesn’t mean “you” are picked for “them”. Ive had 0 matches from top picks that I can notice, and it’s been out for a month. That’s, even estimated, roughly 200 (10/day for 20 days) potential matches. Yet nothing. Tinder is alright, I’ve met cool people on there, but tinder gold probably isn’t worth the money.

It seems like 99% of the accounts are fakes
  • Banned before I was able to finish my profile.

I’ve tried this a time or two before I would meet someone and then delete it afterward if things didn’t work out, this time I was in the process of making another profile when I got kicked and immediately banned. There was no nudity or foul language it what little of my post I was able to work on before o was automatically kicked and banned. And also nothing that would be considered any kind of copyright. When trying to contact support all I get in reply is an email about what the reasons are you would be banned for. Not any help at all, no specific reasons or help of any kind to fix it. Just an immediate ban and then nothing. Go somewhere else and try another app don’t waste time on this one. Wouldn’t even give a one star if I could post a review without it.
  • Discriminating against non-monogamy

If you are not single, you’re not welcome on tinder. Meanwhile, millions of people worldwide (a recent study showed 1 of 5 couples in the UK) are in ethical non-monogamous relationships and interested in meeting those who are interested in meeting them. In stead of banning couples from their services, which feels very discriminatory, Tinder should set a good example in acceptance and be non-discriminatory by allowing couple profiles, and letting users choose “seeking couples” as an option alongside “seeking men/women”.

It’s alright I guess, there’s a very wide selection of people on tinder because it is very popular. I’ve made a couple of friends from Tinder. This does not erase some of the disgusting messages you receive from other people. Not to mention on how YOU CAN GET BANNED FOR NO REASON AND YET WHEN YOU TRY TO APPEAL IT YOU’LL BE TOLD ON HOW THEY ARE NOT DOING APPEALS.
  • 17+?

You say it’s 17+, but I tried to sign up for it and it hit me with the age restriction of 18+. If you’re going to make an app with the 17+ symbol, at least make it to where it’s ACTUALLY 17+.
  • Make better use of swipe features

Users swipe left/right when reviewing potential matches, and swipe in the same direction to get to their messages. Can’t this be changed to swiping up/down so you don’t accidentally swipe left on profiles you are actually interested in or is this part of your scheme to make people pay for tinder plus so they can undo it?
