I love this app! It saves me a ton of time every week along with the convenience of grocery pick up!! My only complaint is that there is no search engine for a recipe. Sometimes meals reference another recipe to use with leftovers and I have been unable to find the other recipe, google turned up nothing. If there was a search, I’d give 5 stars!
  • Grocery Bill is Half Now

I was using a different meal plan service for a while but since making the switch to this one my grocery bill has been cut in half. The meals have all been good and it’s super easy to swap in a meal from a different plan if you aren’t feeling something on the plan you picked. Plus, the clicklist feature saves so much time. My family will be sticking with this for a while.
  • Horrible cancellation process

I had been a long time Emeals user off and on after having babies and such. I found an email dated to 2012 when you could just cancel on the website. Apparently they have gotten greedy and no longer want to make it so convenient to cancel the app. I am a mom of 5 so taking time to sit on a phone call is not easy. Yes I must have missed that part when I signed up again a year ago. But never again will I use this site or recommend it to friends. It used to be lovely and helpful, but the dishonesty is apparent now. Also they put in the call to cancel part about 3/4ths of the way through the terms and conditions, knowing full well that no one is going to read that far into a term agreement except for a contract lawyer.
  • Best Meal Planning App around

I can’t tell you how much my family and I love this app! The recipes are always ALWAYS a winner! We love that we can mix and match recipes from various plans and that we can favorite the ones we love to save for later. All that AND it syncs my grocery list with my local grocery store?! What more could a busy mom ask for?!
  • They make it impossible to cancel!

I did the trial and realized this really didn’t work for me and then found it Very difficult to cancel! I had to search around on the website to figure out where the link was... and then the link just tells you to call during business hours where you have to wait on hold for someone live to take your email address and do the cancellation for you! This is by design so you keep paying them money, and I find it very dishonest.

I was getting so sick of trying to figure out what to make for dinner. I'm so glad my friend Esther referred me to eMeals! We are trying a variety of new foods and I am saving money by shopping with Walmart pick up.

  • A Few Tweaks Would Make This Great!

I've been using emeals for about a year now. Overall it had been really helpful, but there are a few minor tweaks that could make it really great. First and foremost... Add nutritional info for every recipe!!!! I want to know what I'm eating and I hate that I have to use a separate app to calculate the nutritional info for the recipes. The nutritional info is included in some off the plans like the low calorie plan, but not most of the other plans. This should be standard!! Also, there is no way to filter out recipes that don't fit into my diet. I do not eat any red meat or pork, but I do eat poultry and fish, so I end up having to search through several different meal plans to find a week's worth of recipes that work for me. (Which sort of defeats the purpose of paying for a service that is supposed to plan your meals for you) Lastly, why do you need to subscribe to one meal plan instead of just being able to go to the library and see everything??? I know you can easily switch between plans, but why is this even a thing? Why can't you just see all the plans available on your dashboard and then pick and choose???

  • Recipes turn out great

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but so far every recipe I’ve made has been delicious and easy. I do feel this is not worth the price, however. I feel like I’m being taken advantage of, for what it is. I wish it was cheaper because it is great. If I am paying this amount, I do want to see pictures of every recipe and also need a way to get back to my search after selecting an ingredient once they’ve been moved to Walmart. There’s no way of getting out of a product and back to your search once you click on it. It becomes frustrating after awhile.
