I have a strong faith & I’m not one to buy apps. I’m grateful God led me to your app as I find the money well worth the comfort, joy, the Word & peacefulness I get when I lay my head on my pillow but my brain whirls around the daily events. Falling asleep with Christ is a beautiful gift I wish ALL could embrace. Thank you to you all!!

I’ve always struggled to sit down and read the Bible. I confess. This app, however, has helped me connect to God daily without it being a struggle. I love it! I would recommend, though, to add a feature to download the meditations to hear it even when offline. It would be great to listen to this while I ride the train, but I can’t because there’s no stable internet connection.

This app is wonderful. I hope that you will consider putting a praise section. After a session of healing I enjoy hearing about how God is good. I often listen to praise music afterwards but I think it would be interesting for abides team to incorporate that to the meditation app. Also can abide post future plans or a road map? Like a devblog? I would be interested in that maybe even the option to donate to help with future features or anything else.

This app isn't free, it costs $30 a year. The little that isn't restricted seems good, but isn't worth that price.
  • How much is the app?

In the App Store, this app appears to be a free download. If you think your app has value, you should not be afraid to let potential customers know how much it is in the beginning.

Good app. I would change one thing though. The sleep function needs to slowly fade out the music instead of a sudden stop. As I fall asleep the sudden lack of sound as would jolt me up again and stress me out.

For a long time I’ve tried to pray or read the Bible or do a Christ centered meditation on a daily basis. But, the pressures of daily life, after a period of time, always succeeded in pulling me away from this daily practice. Day to day, during my “desert periods” without a prayer life to ground me, an emptiness would draw me back to try, yet again, to turn to God. When I first came upon Abide, I would return to it, on random occasions, along with other YouTube sites to try fill the void in my prayer life, which, yet again went into “Hibernation”. Since this summer, I started listening to the Abide, via its App. Everyday. For 15 minutes. Early Am, cup of coffee, Bible, notebook, and pen at hand. Then, I listen, or pause to read the verse discussed, or write in my journal, daily for 15 minutes. Then I get on with my day to day stuff, which is stress filled, as it is for most people. At night, before going to sleep, I will read my handwritten notes from that morning. Now I find, Going back in time, reading my Abide notes from this summer is Truly grounding. My Abide notes have memorialized how God spoke to me, personally, each day. I am hopeful that I will continue to devote 15 minutes each day of my life Things of God. For now, and God willing, going forward, Abide will be my “Lighthouse” when I start each day, guiding me back safely Home each morning, before a new day dawns. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen. Pat
