Because they wouldn’t let me go, I’m writing this review. Don’t give them 4 stars unless you want to get stuck here.

Try actually getting a full screen view of weather without alert pop-ups that overlay where you are located. Not easy within the time allotted before they try selling the premium membership to you.
  • Should be free

If this is a product of NOAA, it should be free. Does anyone know of an free source of light strike locations? This is important information and should not be behind a Pay wall if it is a NOAA data product.

I just want to see the current situation of satellite cloud cover not a 24 hour loop that is 3+hours old!

You now have to pay for a $5 US subscription. Not sure why this one and the other one that are actually a subscription are separate except you can get a “free trial,” if you sign up with your credit card for the “free trial.” I suggest avoiding this app and anything that has a free trial that is difficult to cancel. It’s honestly sad because we, as US citizens pay for this dept through taxes, but not enough are getting there to pay for expenses, I guess, otherwise we wouldn’t have paid apps like this.

I have 3 areas I watch. Kids in 2 locations & I'm in another. The weather site that this one replaced allowed easily switching between them.. I appreciate the visuals & extra warnings.. quite helpful.

Years ago I was married to an officer was an officer in NOAA. He was often at sea, And I would stay on shore. I remember the field parties, and remember that they were good years. I miss those days. NOAA seems to stand for research and weather. Trusting in the way weather is found by NOAA.
