Terrible system all around
I will say the only positive about this system is it has a camera, you can hear broken audio and you can have broken audio come through the speaker. I’ll add that none of these “positives” work very often. I’ve had the system for over a year. I had to call customer service to set it up initially. It wasn’t easy. They have updated the app since. It’s not much more user friendly because despite following the prompts exactly (I’m a Medical laboratory scientist which is a highly trained science professional so I’m perfectly capable of working this equipment) it rarely sets up the camera effectively. Either it won’t connect to the camera, it glitches and closes the app, or it will switch from the GuardZilla WiFi connection before it is finished setting up because it disappears from the WiFi list. It is malfunctioning and not working more than it is. When I finally get it set up, eventually the camera indicator light will go solid blue light as if someone is accessing it and the apps video feed will go black. When I purchase a new video security system, it won’t be guardzilla. Hope they get it together for the sake of future and current customers.
Really?!? A “bug”!?!
It worked decent at first but then I was unable to connect to the cameras unless I was at home on WiFi...which is pointless. I figured they just needed to be reset AGAIN but didn’t have time to mess with it. Once I tried to reset and reconnect them a couple of weeks later, they still would not work. I contacted Guardzilla support and they said there was a bug causing the issue. So, there has apparently been a bug for several weeks that all of a sudden appeared and nobody at Guardzilla has been smart enough to fix the problem. Still waiting on that update. I wouldn’t bother with these cameras. I also tried one of the new outdoor cameras and took it back to the store the next day.

NOT working for over a week now. I called and emailed them. I was told sorry for your trouble we are working on a update...I updated this week! So, no connection outside my home, no alerts, no notifications of activity, no recording of activity but I can watch live FROM INSIDE MY HOUSE!!! Very angry. I have 3 useless cameras.

I bought 2 of these because the price was right. One for my living room and one for my bedroom. I have a mentally ill adult daughter and a grand child on the spectrum living with me, so I am concerned and need to make sure they are safe. At first, they worked like a charm. Then, after a while, I couldn’t get live feed from one of them, so I switched them and for some reason, it worked. Trying to contact the help line is a challenge. Leave a message. Then the videos wouldn’t download. Now I can’t connect at all. Still waiting for a call back. Don’t waste your money. Buy a Nest. I wish I did.

I can’t monitor my cameras when I’m on LTE or outside my own network
App is the worst
2.0.1 update broke all siren functionality. The siren sounds just by switching the setting on even though system is not armed and motion was not detected.
The panic button siren no longer works either and it’s too close to the settings button in case of Mis-click.
The camera hardware works fine for me
Please fix the app. After iOS update now I can only view when I’m on my home WiFi. Black screen as soon as I leave the house.
App No Longer Works
You can not see the video unless you are connected to home network which makes the camera useless. I emailed company, and they responded that there was an update. However, no update can be located.

Loved my Gaurdzilla until now it is worthless. The app no longer works to check my cameras at all unless I am in my house, which makes having it useless. Gaurdzilla did some kind of app update, and ever since my iphone will not connect to the app unless I am on my own home wifi network. Contacted them and they said NO ETA. This is not acceptable and very upsetting, and has destroyed my sense of security.

This camera worked very well for 3 days,,
I could connect anywhere at anytime and view,talk,listen and snap pics,,connection was 100% relatable,,,, BUT THEN
After 3 days of use now I can only connect to the camera if I am on my home wifi.
Iv reinstalled the camera and the app several times only to be right back to the same issue.
The listening button quit as well as the siren..
Do not buy!
If you just purchased a guardzilla, return it before you waste your time,,,,
Maybe,, just maybe they can get these issues fixed,, I'll retract this statement but until then,,, DO NOT BUY OR RETURN IT BEFORE IT STOPS WORKING.
FIX THE UPDATE
Usually this app and camera are great. I would give it 5 stars for how it has performed for me in the past. However, this recent update has made it so no one can see anything once they leave the same WiFi that the camera is on. For example, if I am home the camera works great. The moment I leave home It will not load. FIX THE ISSUE!!!! The point of having a camera is that when you leave, you’ll be able to see what is going on. I’m obviously not the only one effected by this update and the fact that it has been almost 5 days since it started and there is still no fix is absolutely unacceptable. FIX IT. Or I will be buying a different product from one of your competitors.
